Carlota Tejero, Principal I ng Madamba Integrated School Principal sa dibisyon ng Masbate, ang peer mentoring at teacher-student tutorials upang mapahusay ang student preparation at performance para sa mga exit assessments tulad ng National Achievement Test (NAT).

“School personnel and peers play a crucial role in the students’ preparation and performance enhancement in the NAT Grade 12. This holistic approach ensures that students receive comprehensive support not only in mastering test-taking techniques and study methods but also in addressing any challenges they may encounter along the way, fostering their overall growth and development,” ani Principal Tejero.

Ayon kay Principal Tejero, itinuturo ng school personnel at peers ang mga examination essential skills sa mga estudyante tulad ng mga ginagamit sa Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

Kabilang sa mga ito ang time management, elimination method, at mnemonic devices. Bukod pa rito, ang sistema ay naging flexible para matupad ang iba’t ibang pangangailangan ng mga estudyante, kabilang ang alternative assessment methods, extended deadlines, at personalized study plans.

“This flexibility empowered students to customize their learning approach based on their preferences, strengths, and limitations, fostering a sense of ownership over their education and effective time and resource management,” pagbibigay-diin ni Principal Tejero.

“Best practices do not necessarily have to be unique. As long as they can make a transformational difference to the learners, even if they are common, they are valuable. They only need to provide the best they can and work collaboratively with dedicated services,” aniya.

Dahil sa pagtutulungan ng mga guro, school personnel, at mga estudyante ng eskuwelahan, nakamit ng Madamba Integrated School ang ika-unang puwesto sa Top 10 Performing Schools in NAT Grade 12 (SY 2022-2023).
