RATIONALE OF THE DEPED REGIONAL  LOGO

Our DepEd Region V logo design itself expresses the 47^th year of existence of the Department of Education Region V from its establishment to the present as depicted by the figures shown.

1. The Book shown in the silhouette at the background as the fundamental foundation of learning conveying its vision, mission, and goals.

2. The Torch being the universal symbol in the quest for excellence the prestige and eloquence of the academe particularly on the transfer of knowledge.

3. The image of Our lady of Penafrancia of course to depict the spiritually of the Bicolanos in totality.

4. The famous Mayon Volcano, Butanding (Whale Shark), the Pili and Sili that we are most proud of.

5. With a color of orange and yellow around the speaks for a new dawn of resiliency, intelligence and bright future of the learners and the institution itself.

Our DepEd Region V Logo was proudly conceptualized during the term of DepEd Region V Director Celedonio L. Layon sometimes in the year 2005 by the contributor.
